JIMMIE LEE NAIL, 18, was born in Ranger, TX, on
March 28, 1937, to Lela Mae Daniels & Loyd Francis
Nail. He attended Ranger High School in the RHS
Class of 1955. He had two brothers, Loyd Nail, Jr.
and Gilbert Wayne Nail (RHS-1965), and two sisters,
Martha Nail (RHS-1956) and Patsy Nail Swindle (RHS-
1963). Jimmie was on the Ranger State Champion
Bulldog football team of 1953, jersey number 44,
and played tackle. He died in an automobile accident
between Ranger and Breckenridge on Jan. 29, 1956.
