PATSY DARLENE NAIL SWINDLE, 68, born in
June of 1945 in Ranger, TX, passed away peacefully
on Sept. 9, 2013 in Denton, TX.
Patsy grew up in Ranger, TX, and graduated from
Ranger High School in the Class of 1963. She was
said by many to be the most beautiful and spirited
cheerleader to go through Ranger High. She enjoyed
people and always was willing to share a smile and
kind word or laugh. Patsy was the definition of
Miss Congeniality. Her hobby was people. She was
the life of the party and quite boisterous. Patsy
enjoyed dancing and singing, sharing her beautiful
voice with those she entertained. Her family
remembers her as cheerful, always positive thinking,
caregiver with a servant's heart.
Patsy was reunited with those who have gone before
her including: her parents, Loyd & Lela Nail; brothers,
Loyd Nail Jr. (decd), Jimmie Lee Nail (RHS-1955) &
Gilbert Wayne Nail (RHS-1965); son, Michael Eller;
niece, Anita Goldsmith; and her loving husband, Ed
Swindle.
Those left to cherish her memory are: sister, Martha
Goldsmith (RHS-1956) (Elmer); nieces, Debbie Nail
Wilson (RHS-1972) (Glynn, RHS-1968)), Donna Allen, &
Sherry Brandt (Keith); step-daughter, Donna Eller
Thompson; nephews, Jimmy Goldsmith & Curtis Goldsmith,
along with many more extended family and many dear
friends.
SON: MICHAEL DON ELLER passed away Feb. 19,
2012. He graduated from Cleburne High School in 1986
and the University of North Texas in 1992.
Survivors at the time of his death: father, Don Eller;
mother, Patsy Swindle; sister, Donna Thompson; brother-
in-law, Jim White; aunts, Angela Eller, Trudy Nail
Davenport and Martha and husband, Elmer Goldsmith;
and uncle, J.D. and wife, Sydney Eller.
