MARILYN "MIMI" AMELIA HENDERSON MORGAN,
56, of Ranger, TX passed away March 19, 2015.
Mimi was born Nov. 13, 1958 in Ranger, TX to
Richard (RJC-coach) & Marilyn Henderson (long-
time teacher at RHS). She graduated from Ranger
High School in 1977, attended Ranger Jr. College,
& received her Bachelor's Degree in Education in
1981 from Howard Payne University. Mimi married
Hank Morgan (RHS-1982) in June of 1998. During
her career as an educator she taught at Lamesa
and Ranger Elementary Schools for 23 years. She
adored spending time with her children & students.
She loved to travel with her husband. Mimi enjoyed
to shop and laugh with her daughters and many
friends. She loved watching the Texas Rangers,
Dallas Cowboys, and TCU and enjoyed attending
school and sporting events, always cheering on
her beloved Ranger Bulldogs. She was an avid
reader and was seldom without a book. Mimi was
loved by all and will be remembered by her
personality as big as her smile.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard
Henderson, Uncle, Bill Miller and Aunts, Caroline
Miller, Hellen Kimbro, and Elaine Wilson.
At the time of her death, she was survived by her
mother, Marilyn Henderson, and her husband, Hank
Morgan, both of Ranger; sons, Gage (Jaclyn) Grogan,
of Evansville, IN, son of Rickey Grogan, Matthew
(Crystal) Morgan of DeLeon; daughters, Lee (Brandon)
Hudson, daughter of Rickey Grogan, & Krysten (Jacob)
Russell both of Stephenville; Grand-daughters -
Autumn, Breanna & Jocelynn Morgan & Aubrey Russell;
Grandson - Matthew Morgan, Jr. & a host of friends
and loved ones.
