JOSEPH "JOE" NASH, 57, went to be with the
Lord on Jan. 15, 2024, with interment in Blood
River Baptist Church Cemetery at Hammond, LA.
He was a native of Texas and a resident of Holden,
LA. Joe attended Ranger High School in the Class
of 1986 at Ranger, TX. He retired in TX as a
handyman in the tree service industry and in LA
started working in the education system. He enjoyed
his time at Albany Middle and High School & would
work anywhere that was needed.
Joe had a strong and unwavering faith and shared
the word of God with anyone who would listen. He
attended service at the Hungarian Presbyterian
Church regularly and truly was a bold Christian
man. Joe enjoyed going fishing & watching football.
He never met a stranger and would chat up a conver-
sation with anyone and walk away with a new friend.
Joe adored his family and was happiest surrounded
by all of his loved ones. He lived his life dedicated
to two things: his family & God. Joe was a wonderful
husband, loving father, and the best Paw Paw that
you could ever have and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Melinda G.
Nash; sons, Justin Nash (Kortnie), Brian Nash;
daughters, Stephanie McClammy (Will), Heather
Boudreaux (Quinn), Kayla Kinchen; & grandchildren,
Allyssa and Adam McClammy, Brileigh, Gunter, Joseph,
and Emily Nash, Lily Nash, Annalise and Riley
Boudreaux, and Lucy Kinchen.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, James "Jim"
& Phyllis Campbell (RHS-1966) Nash; and brother,
Michael Nash (RHS-1990).
