The post level is the grass roots of the VFW organization, at this level all changes in the organization are first started and support is generated as the new proposal is carried up the chain of command.
The post level is where every member has his membership, except those who are members-at-large. VFW membership has many distinguished Americans, Former Vice-President Al Gore, Sen. Bob Dole and many other Americans of celebrity status.
The VFW has over 2 Million members, one of the largest and strongest of all veterans service organizations. It is said that when we speak, they listen.
