| Ben (the Marathon Man) Bethel and Tony Carcasole finished their 15 miles so they could play. Workouts went extremely well this week one of the regular season and the Warriors were ready to play their first game of the year in Warrior Stadium. Jason Underwood ankle was responding well to treatment, Andy Lane's hanstring seemed to be near 100%, Scotty Allen's shoulder was good. Everything was in place as we waited anxiously for Friday---the Pep Rally and then the game.
The Warriors played aggresively and recorded the first of many shutouts.
