| | Sometimes on school holidays, practices on the average are not very good. But the Warriors remained focused on Labor Day and had a great practice. Andy Lane returned to full practice, Blake Jones and Jason Underwood started working out. Practice was profitable with the younger players stepping up. The Jr. Varsity worked extremely hard, which is so important to the Varsity game preparation. The Warriors had been reporting to tutorials daily to ensure not to lose anyone academically. John Milton and Shane Hewett joined the team this week and started their running. The Warriors were poised and confident for a long 2 1/2 hour bus ride. Rain welcomed the Warriors to Maud and it rained most of the night, but the Warriors controlled the game and recorded their 2nd shutout with a 39-0 victory. The Warriors came home victoriously only to find that several of their vehicles had been broken into.
