NOTICE: This page and the links attached
to it have been created specifically for JoAnn and
her 4th grade class and for other Netscape 4.0+ users. It
enables you to hear sound using Netscape and the Crescendo
plug-in. Many people couldn't get these pages to
download properly on their Macs or without
Netscape 4.0+ so I created this "mirrored" site
for those of you with Netscape who wish to hear the songs.
Let me know if you have any problems. You can click back
to
our original homepage and
use Netscape without sound.
While the Guild has produced many "stars" over
the years, now we invite you now to click on the 5 stars
below and begin your journey through our site. Who knows
...maybe you'll be our next star!
This summer's musical production of
Anything Goes! will be staged
July 16, 17, and 18
and
July 22, 23, and 24
at Rice University's Hamman Hall.
Use entrance 13, 1st parking lot on the left.
The 1st weekend features 8:00PM
shows on Opening Night, Friday, July 16 and
Saturday, July 17. We are also offering a 2:00PM
Sunday afternoon matinee this year on July 18. The
following week we have our annual Patron's Night for everyone
who wishes to join us for our performance on Thursday, July 22 at
8:00PM. A Friday night performance at 8:00PM will follow and we will
close our show with a final performance on Saturday evening, July 24, at
8:00PM. We hope you will be able to attend one (or more) of our shows. Tickets for this summer's St. Cyril
Theatre Guild performances remain one of the best entertainment values in town, priced from only $5 to $10 per seat. If
you would like to go to dinner before or after a performance, please review
our Houston page for a list of restaurants.
A brief synopsis of the musical, details on auditions, the rehearsal schedule, ticket information, and a history of the Guild
with links to all eight of our previous shows are available by clicking below.
Without Cole Porter there would be
no Anything Goes. Please visit our
Tribute to Cole Porter page for some pictures and interesting information
on the life of Cole Porter and some of the background for this musical.
Please check the "Announcements" page for new messages. Older
messages concerning make-up and other topics are still there also.
General Guild Announcements should be checked often.
We are "down to the wire" and
still have several jobs that need filling. We need
lots of help to produce this musical. If
you have some skills to offer or are just willing
to work hard to "learn on the job" please check
our job openings page.
