The Terrorcons first appeared when Galvatron had infected the Autobots with 'anti-electrons' from Unicron. These particles could completely reverse a Transformers mannerisms and impair their functionality, and when the Autobots were malfunctioning and weak, Galvatron unleashed the five Terrorcons - Hun-Grrr, Blot, Cutthroat, Rippersnapper and Sinnertwin - on them. In an effort to counter the new Decepticons, Grimlock, having recieved a massive influx of anti-electrons to his brain after chewing on some electric cables, which caused him to become super-intelligent, used components from Unicron's head to build five new Autobots - the Technobots! When the Terrorcons combined into their gestalt form of Abominus, the terrified Technobots were informed by Grimlock that they too could merge like this, into Computron. Grimlock transferred his newfound intelligence into Computron, who was able to defeat Abominus by out-thinking him.
The Terrorcons are as unpleasant a bunch of Decepticons as you could ever want to meet. They each have their own weapons and powers and can merge their forms into that of the strongest of all gestalt Transformers, Abominus.
HUN-GRRR
As the Terrorcon leader, Hun-Grrr transforms into a two-headed dragon-creature. In this mode, he has two mouths to feed, and spends most of his time doing it. As his mouth is usually full of whatever he considers consumable that may be nearby, his orders are sometimes misinterpreted. In creature mode, he can refashion digested material and spit it back out in the form of crude missiles, while in robot mode, he is armed with a sonic stun gun. He forms Abominus's torso.
BLOT
Blot is, for lack of better terminology, disgusting. He smells foul and drips a trail of flithy lubricant from his joints wherever he goes. Being the object of ridicule that he is, Blot is socially inept and suffers from an inferiority complex, though he is a loyal soldier. His creature mode is indescribable, but in it, he can scale any wall with his claws, and exhales small clouds of flame. In both modes he uses a slime gun. He forms Abominus's right arm, although his fellow Terrorcons are reluctant to accept him into the combination, as he smells so bad.
CUTTHROAT
Cutthroat is a merciless fighter, using the wings, beak and talon of his bird-creature mode to slice his enemies to ribbons. In creature mode, he can shoot a jet of flame from his mouth. It is noted in his tech specs that he is not capable of flight, merely leaping huge distances, although on numerous occasions in this continuity, was was indeed seen quite clearly flying. In robot mode, he is armed with a double-barelled magnetiser. He forms Abominus's left leg, although he prefers not to merge, as he considers Abominus "too tame" for him.
RIPPERSNAPPER
Rippersnapper despises organic life, and simply its presence near him can drive him into a frenzy. He transforms into a bipedal shark-like creature, with claws and teeth that can tear through just about anything, along with twin missile launchers. In robot mode, he is equipped with a cyclone gun. He forms the left arm of Abominus.
SINNERTWIN
Sinnertwin is the sort who goes looking for trouble, taking enjoyment in battle and victory. In his two-headed creature mode, his teeth, claws and horns can rip through steel. Also in this mode, he can breath fire, and is equipped with a flame thrower. Each head can speak separately, with different voices, though it's unclear if there are two personalities at work. In robot mode, he is armed with an armour-piercing rocket grenade launcher. He is easily unnerved by small creatures. He forms Abominus's right leg.
ABOMINUS
Abominus is the strongest gestalt Transformer, though the mental merge between the five Terrorcons is less that stable, due to Cutthroat's lack of preference for it, and Blot's repulsiveness. Commonly, Abominus merely grunts and growls - he has only been known to speak on one occasion, and even then it wasn't a proper sentence. He is armed with Hun-Grrr's sonic stun gun.
When the Terrorcons next appeared, they had somehow come under the control of the Quintessons (Note - This was the first episode to actually feature the Terrorcons, but we know it was definitely aired out of sequence, as it featured the Technobots, and they had not yet been built in any episodes shown. Therefore we know that this episode, "Money is Everything", takes place after "Grimlock's New Brain", in which the Technobots were built, and in which the Terrorcons were working for the Decepticons, though no official explanation for why the Terrorcons were now working for the Quintessons was ever given). The Quintessons had outfitted the Terrorcons with a timer, which controlled their combination into Abominus, and were using them as enforcers. When Computron came into play, he engaged Abominus in battle, and defeated him by activating the timer, separating him into his constituent parts.
The Terrorcons were among the Primitives garnered by Primacron's Assistant to do battle with Tornitron. The Terrorcons, being the anti-social types that they are, were unwillling to co-operate with any of the other Primitives, but a little... 'persuasion' from Sky Lynx and Trypticon convinced them otherwise. When they arrived at the centre of the galaxy, Trypticon was felled by Tornitron as the Assistant explained the situation to the Primitives. The Primitives fled and split up, but Tornitron soon tracked them all down. Changing his shape to resemble that of a hydra, Tornitron quickly felled the Terrorcons, then the remaining Primitives, save for Grimlock, who was able to reverse Tornitron's energy polarity and destroy him, restoring the stolen energy to all the Transformers it had been drained from.
A report of a new heat-resistant alloy developed by Doctors Mark Morgan and Gregory Swafford prompted a Decepticon strike to steal the metal for their own purposes. The Terrorcons attacked Morgan's laboratory, but met resistance in the form of the Technobots. The two teams merged into Abominus and Computron, but in this instance, Computron took too long thinking up an effective attack, and Abominus blasted him, speaking the aforementioned one line - "Computron think too much!" The Terrorcons separated and made off with the alloy, as the Technobots helped Morgan's daughter, Jessica, who'd been injured in the attack.
The Terrorcons, like all Decepticons, must have become infected by the Hate Plague, and have been cured when the reborn Optimus Prime opened the Matrix. The Terrorcons were not seen again, and their fate following the restoration of Cybertron's Golden Age is unknown.
