What is MOPS?
MOPS is a program for mothers of preschoolers and their children (babies to pre-schoolers).
MOPS is a caring support group which identifies the needs and stresses of mothers of young children and offers solutions.
MOPS offers mothers a chance for "time out" from the children in order to develop friendships and achieve a sense of accomplishment through creative activities.
MOPS provides a time of teaching and discussion on topics relating to womanhood, marriage, child-rearing and the home.
What is MOPPETS?
MOPPETS is the children's program which runs while MOPS is meeting. MOPPETS provides quality care for children aged 0-5 in a program which allows children to grow socially, creatively and spiritually. For children aged 3-5 the morning includes creative play, singing, craft, Bible story, morning tea and outdoor play. Children under 3 are cared for in a loving nursery setting, with creative play, Bible story, morning tea and outdoor play.
What does a MOPS program include?
MOPS meets once a fortnight during school terms. The program usually includes morning tea, time for a chat with other mums, creative activities, speaker, discussion.
