Some of our people here went to the Dead Sea for a sporting event this weekend. There's lots of history down there to see...
My unaccompanied baggage hasn't shown up. I can only imagine what it will be like when it does.
Actually, I never did get my passport before departing for the Middle East. I strongly suspect that the Egyptians were convinced that I was a spy, since in my civilian picture I look like a CIA agent from the 1960s.
I remember getting my orders. I didn't quite know what to think of them.
....Buster's Battery has been published in the Fort Bliss Monitor, The WSMR Ranger and the Scimitar, newspaper of our armed forces in Iraq! Unfortunately the Scimitar is no more, but it was fun while it lasted!
Meanwhile, Buster's Battery is now run in the Fort Bragg Paraglide for those of you who like print.
