Papa (Jed) and Georgia Booth (sister to Violet) are married, and they have two daughters, Emily and Eugenia. Violet and Aaron have a daughter, Lillian. Lillian has a daughter, Charlotte, by Jed. Eugenia dies from cystic fibrosis. Charlotte has a son, Homer, by Luther. Georgia Booth dies of illness. Lillian marries William Cutler, and they have a son, Randolph. Randolph marries Laura Sue, and they have a son, Philip. Laura Sue has a daughter, Eugenia (Dawn), by William Cutler. Laura Sue has a daughter, Clara Sue, by Bronson Alcott. Ormand Longchamp is married to Sally Jean, and they have two children, James and Fern. Sally Jean dies of consumption (tuberculosis) and Ormand is arrested. Fern is adopted and her name is changed to Kelly Ann Osborne. Dawn is returned to the Cutler family. Ormand marries Edwina and they have a son, Gavin. Philip marries Betty Ann, and they have twins Melanie and Richard. Clara Sue dies in an accident. Miss Emily dies of old age. Dawn and James die in a fire that destroys the Cutler's Cove Hotel.
