Secrets of the Morning Cover Secrets of the Morning

Shadowed by her tortured past, Dawn has a bright new life of glimmering hopes...

Dawn can hardly believe she's a student at one of New York City's best music schools. Now her most precious wish, to become a singer, can come true. But Dawn still dreams about Jimmy, her strong, intense boyfriend, and the love and anguished secrets they share.

Secrets of the Morning Stepback Then Michael Sutton arrives, a new teacher at the school, a singing star and the most wonderful-looking man Dawn has ever seen. Together they create a world of feeling Dawn has never known. In his embrace Dawn awakens to disturbing, unfamiliar desires, and Michael's promises offer a vision of music and romance forever... until he disappears.

Dazed by his cruelty, alone with the bitter fruit of his betrayal, Dawn becomes, once again, a victim of her grandmother's twisted schemes. Desolate, she clings to the tender hope that Jimmy will return and renew with her their deepest hearts' dream...

The trials of the Cutler family continues.

Standing -- Clara Sue, Philip, Lillian, Michael
Sitting -- Dawn, Jimmy

Do you have an opinion about who's in the picture? Write to me.

"I think that may be Randolph standing next to Lillian, considering Michael never let anyone know he was with Dawn, he hid with her and then ran away. It makes more sense for Randolph to be standing next to his mother, because he was attached to her at the hip anyway."
- Samantha of Attic Sanctuary

"Why can't it be Dawn's and Jimmy's father Ormand standing next to Lillian? I mean, he's more in the background. And look at the resemblence to the guy in "Dawn". That's their father. So why can't it be Ormand? Just a thought."
- Sandra

"Moi je crois que l'homme qui est debout à côté de Lillian est Michael, car je ne crois pas que Randolf aurait un regard aussi mystèrieux envers Aurore."
Translation: "Me I believe that the man who is upright beside Lillian is Michael, because I do not believe that Randolf would have such a mysterious glance towards Dawn."
- Marie-Eve of Québec

First of all, Lillian (Dawn's "Grandmother") is supposed to look old, right? But in "Secrets of the Morning" step back art, she looks no older than 50. The guy standing next to her (Lillian) is Michael, because he (Michael) looks a little standoffish (like he's hiding or hiding a secret).

I thought the woman standing behind Dawn is Agnes Morris, the woman who is in charge of boarding house. Lillian would not let her hair down, wear colorful dress, and cake her face with make-up. Lillian didn't even go up to New York City until Dawn gotten busted. Also she couldn't stand up good anymore and need to use cane.
