ADDING INFORMATION OR GETTING INFORMATION
ADDING INFORMATION
If you have information to add to any of the family trees here, or if you have information on any other family that you believe either to be related to one of these families or simply to be from either Lygumai/Ligum or Pakruojis/Pakroy, we welcome your contribution. We prefer that you send your information as an email attachment (to Irwin Berent at ibstory@exis.net) and that you use the general pattern used herein (see EXPLANATION OF TREES). Note however that Mr. Berent is eager to hand over this job to other interested person(s); so if you're interested in helping out, we'll be happy to "hand over the reins."
If you have information about the towns themselves (Lygumai/Ligum or Pakruojis/Pakroy), we are always eager to print it. Did you or a person you know ever live in Ligum and have some recollections of it? Do you have written material or published material describing Ligum/Pakroy Jewish history, that you have translated? Or perhaps you simply have the name of a publication or website that includes information pertinent to Ligum/Pakroy history? (We already have a little bit - see LIGUM HISTORY.) In addition, if you have any photographs taken in Ligum or Pakroy that you can scan (to create a computerized version of the photo), we'll happily present them here (but please DON'T send us original photographs). We'll be happy to list or print any and all such material. We prefer that it be sent to us as an email attachment (to Irwin Berent at ibstory@exis.net).
