(pic. 2 come!) Well, after I was born, everything was going okay, or so we thought. On Sunday night, I started having funny twitches that my mom and dad noticed. When the nurses saw it early Monday morning, they knew something was wrong and sent me down to the NICU. My mom and dad were very sad, they were supposed to take me home that day. Well, after BUNCHES of tests, they found I was having seizures. It was because of a intracranial hemmorage (sp?), meaning it was in my brain, and it was big. They had (and still have) no idea why this happened to me. They put me on phenobarbitol to stop the seizures and decided to wait and see if they could aspirate the blood out. So I spent two weeks in the NICU. I looked funny, because I was very big compared to all the other babies, but it was okay, my mom was there everyday to hold me. Finally, hurray! my mom and dad find out that the blood is going away on it's own so they don't have to do a procedure on me. I went home on May 14th, Mother's Day. My mommy said it was the best Mother's Day present she could've asked for. Since then, I have been to many specialist appointments and am being followed by a developmental program, and I'm doing allright. I'm even on time developmentally. They also might get to take me off my medicine in January, keep your fingers crossed for me!
