SHOT
AT AND MISSED
Cody's quiet vacation
at a ski resort in Virginia doesn't last long as he first rescues
a damsel in distress, then needs rescuing himself when he becomes
the prime suspect in a strange murder case investigated by the FBI.
After the case is suddenly and inexplicably labeled a suicide, suspicious
Cody is intent on proving that it actually was murder, just not
by him.
The investigation
leads Cody through a diverse cast of characters and takes him from
the ski slopes of Virginia to the Washington, D.C. area. Quickly
a web of intrigue and behind-the-scenes political maneuvering threaten
to fatally entangle him, as his actions result in Cody becoming
the next target of an unknown, but very tenacious, assassin.

I enjoyed this Cody J. Bryan story even
more than the first one. Once again, I’m waiting impatiently
for the publication of the next in this series!
