2003:
As of now, we are still waiting for a response from the Texas Court
of Criminal Appeals.
September 2002:
Judge Harmon granted the motion to have the Texas Court of Criminal
Appeals investigate Willie's right to have a DNA test. DNA
evidence was originally taken, however, it was destroyed for some
unknown reason before the results were revealed. The case is now
on hold in the Federal District Court until the Texas Court of Criminal
Appeals reaches a decision.
