Lots of important shows coming up this year. In March we will be heading out to do a few Texas shows with heavy metal heros OCTOBER31 (featuring King Fowley of DECEASED). The tentative dates are 3/3 Houston,TX, 3/4 Harlingen,TX 3/5 Alice,TX, 3/6 Nuevo Laredo, MEX.
The March 5 date is the MALICE IN ALICE Festival. The first Heavy Metal Fest to ever come to Alice featuring many of TEXAS TOP bands.
On April 2nd we have the SOUTH TEXAS METAL FEST II in Harlingen, TX.
Then on April 9th we will be heading out to Austin for the first time to play a show at the BACK ROOM with Texas' AVERSE SEFIRA.

Aug. 29, 2004:
Been working on the album lately. The new songs are coming along quite nicely. Recording should take place in September. In October we start hitting some live shows again for our return to the stage. On the 11th of October we will be opening for DEICIDE, Olympic Record's DIABOLIC and JUNGLE ROT, Metal Blade Record's CATTLE DECAPITATION and GOATWHORE along with Corpus Christi's KILLAMORA and PURUCTIC at EL PALACIO BALLROOM (3211 AYERS) in Corpus Christi. Then the next weekend on October 23rd we will be playing DEVOURMENT PRODUCTION'S HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL with a ton of bands. It took me at least 30 minutes to transcribe all the LOGOS from the flyer, (HEHE!!!) but I think I finally did it. Here is the list of bands playing.

July 14, 2004:
Next weekend, July 24th, we are heading out to play Houston for the first time. Looks to be a great line up with PROPHECY from the Dallas/FW area, CRIMSON MASSACRE from Houston, NEVERDEAD also from the Dallas/FW area, and CRUSHER. This will be one of our last shows for a while again. We will be taking some more time off to work on the upcoming album.

June 27, 2004:
This was a fun weekend for HAMMERWHORE and reunions with past members.
On Friday we played in our hometown with our original vocalist BJ Ferguson. The Dual vocals with Joe lead to a more intense and chaotic set. There was a thunderstorm and heavy rain which unfortunately kept some of the bands and fans away, but I would like to thank KREATION who made it all the way from San Antonio to play a kick ass set of heavy tunes. My neck still hurts from banging my head. I'd also like to thank Tragedy of Shadows who were playing their very first show on this night. They are a very young band and I see good things coming from them in the future.

Saturday we went up to Corpus to Zero's for a show with Xapharon, Obliquity, and Exulcerate. Unfortunatly none of the bands showed up except for Xapharon. Xapharon played and ironically they sounded better than I had ever heard them.

We wanted to play but didn't have Eric with us. As a coincidence our old drummer Chris Rangel was there and we were like "FUCK IT!!!! Lets set up with Xapharon's kit on stage and just Jam".
We got onstage and declared, "Unfortunatly HAMMERWHORE could not be here tonight, but we are here instead". We ran through a set of mostly improvised Heavy Metal, a few HammerWhore tunes and some Iron Maiden and Grim Reaper covers. It was FUN as hell.

June 20, 2004:
We have secured a deal to release our full length debut CD through Germany's WITCHES BREW Records by the end of this year and have been added to their roster of bands. I can't wait for everyone to finally hear us as a full unit. We will be rehearsing all new stuff in preparation to do this record. We will slowly be debuting these new songs at upcoming shows to familarize the fans to the new material. The ASSAULT begins.

This Friday June 25th we will be playing at DOWNTOWN RIOT. We are bringing down KREATION and MORTALITY from San Antonio to join us on stage. It will be a very special show since it is our first show in ALICE since FEB. 07. Also it will be featuring as a SPECIAL Guest vocalist, BJ FERGUSON, who you may remember was HAMMERWHORE's original vocalist in 2002. Be prepared for Total Destruction!!!!

June 03, 2004:
The new T-shirts are in. These are black short sleeve Tshirts with red/white design. We have Sizes Med, Large and Xlarge right now but on the reorder we will be including some XXLarge for you big fuckers and Small for little girls because there's nothing I like more than seeing a girl with WHORE written across her chest. They are available for $15.00 at shows and for mailorder. I am now accepting Paypal.
I will be selling them this weekend at Downtown Riot where I will be helping Chris from Underground Unleashed. We will have the full Underground Unleashed Distro Available (PUNK & METAL Tshirts, CDs, Videos/DVD, Buttons, etc.) show bring your $$$. It promises to be a great show. I'm looking forward to seeing Absense of Sanity again and the rest of bands too. Good Luck.

June 01, 2004:
The fest in Harlingen went great. We had a great time. Lots of LAUGHS with people we didn't know. Hopefully made lots of new friends even though we are obnoxious. Loved the guys in Panteon, Axe of Vengence, and Exulcerate. They were maniacs!!! Beligerant were one of my favorite bands of the night. They kicked ass it was my first time seeing them.
The beer was cold so the heat didn't bother me. Actually the heat in the club was a relief compared to the heat on the drive up in a car with no Air conditioning.
Vex had some equipment problems. This is my second time that I only catch the beginning of a VEX set. The last time was in Corpus when our vocalist/guitarist Joe was unconcious in the parking lot and I had to go attend to him.
The bands I missed because I was fucking around outside were...

Funeral Rites althtough they were awesome the last time I saw them in Corpus.
Masochism I'm sorry to have missed these guys since they seemed to put on a good show.
Asunder I have no idea where I was when these guys played.

When we went on we had no idea we were already going to start. The sound guy told us to play a piece of a song to soundcheck the levels and as soon as we started the lights went out. Hehe, we were like....What?.... Ok go for it. Didn't have time to put on gauntlets/bulletbelts or anything. hehe, we got an image to uphold you know. ;)
Hopefully we spread the Hammerwhore name a little further. Got some excellent feed back so far.

May 19, 2004:
We want to thank everyone that made it out to THE UNDERGROUND on May 14th. We had a great time!!! It was a killer show and the crowd really showed their support for us. Show pictures coming soon.
The big show is coming up next week in Harlingen, TX on May 29th. We will be playing with 8 other bands from the state of Texas at the SOUTH TEXAS METAL FEST sponsored by Extreme Texas Metal and South Texas Metal Productions. We would like to thank Anna and Serge especially for giving us the opportunity to play outside of the Corpus Christi area for the first time. May 3, 2004:
I updated the Picture page today and added some photos from our show at ZERO's on April 24th. The pictures came out dark and grainy due to the shitty disposible camera we used but I think it gives it the old Cut-and-Paste photocopied Fanzine look. Don't miss our upcoming show at The Underground (3101 Agnes St. Corpus Christi, TX) on Friday May 14th. Metal bands from all over the state of Texas will be there including Demure from Dallas, Mortality from San Antonio, and The Burning Midget from College Station. it promises to be a kick a night of thrashin' metal mayhem.

April 2004:
Hammerwhore is finally heading back to the stage after a 2 month break. We have some great upcoming shows. We will be playing at Zero's in Corpus Christi on April 24th with Funeral Rites from Houston, Panteon from Brownsville, and Corpus Christi's own Xapharon.
On May 14th we will be playing at The Underground (formally Sounds) in Corpus Christi with Demure and many further bands to be announced soon.
We look forward to returning to Downtown Riot soon. We are trying to organize a show on May 8th at DTR with San Angelo's extreme texas metal band VEX, and San Antonio Death Metal veterans Mortality. We hope to bring this show for you guys in Alice.

March 2004:

We are looking forward to heading down to the valley and playing Harlingen, TX for the first time, when South Texas Metal Productions and Extreme Texas Metal present FUNERAL RITES, EXULCERATE, VEX, AXE OF VENGENCE, HAMMERWHORE, SLOWGRIND ,BELLIGERENT,, and ,MASOCHISM at The Rangerville Ballroom on May 29th. We want to get out there and spread our brand of Thrashing Metal to the die hards.
