Tip 2
Now that we have created a new file, it's time to learn how to move that file around on our computer.
We will do this in Windows Explorer.
A. If you are using Windows 98 click Start>Programs>Windows Explorer.
B. If you are using Windows XP click Start>Programs>Accessories>Windows Explorer.
C. Now that we have Windows Explorer open lets move the Math Assignments folder we made in Computer Tips 1.
Take a look at the list of drives.
First click on My Computer in the left window.
We will be using Local Disk or Drive C:
D. Now click on Desktop in the left window.
You should find the Math Asssignments folder in the right window.
E. Move your mouse over the folder.
Click and drag the folder to the left window until the drive you are moving to is highlighted.
In this case it's Local Disk or Drive C:.
F. The folder Math Assignments is now in Local Disk or Drive C:.
