Perry's Dustin Schlatter (145 pounds) was one of five Panthers wrestlers to win district championships at Saturday's Perry Division I District Tournament. Chris Hartley (119), Zach Mizer (130) and Thomas Straughn (140) joined their teammate by earning district titles. Junior Cory Nelson picked up third place by winning the 152-pound consolation bracket. Wadsworth and GlenOak finished second and third respectively in the tournament. The Grizzlies will have four wrestlers advance to state, including three district champions. Derek Foore (135), Josh Kallai (152) and Timmy Miller (171) all won titles. The Golden Eagles had five qualify for state: Mike Abruzzi (second in 140), B.J. Boosz (fourth in 103), Kyle Johnson (fourth in 130) and Kyle Allessandro (fourth in 135).
