What is a "Liberal" Religion?

Liberal religions are those that use multiple sources of religious authority; define salvation as social justice; believe that sin is something someone does, rather than what someone is; believe that human societies should and can mirror divine principles; and gathered around shared values rather than rigid dogmatic beliefs.
