At the Tower of Omens Bengali, Pumyra, Lynx-O, and Snarfer all saw the Cat Signal.  "It's the Cat Signal!" yelled Pumyra.  "Rowr, Snarfer you stay here and guard the Tower.  Pumyra, Lynx-O, and I will take the Thunderstrike and go help Lion-O and the others." Said Bengali.  "Alright Bengali, snarfer snarfer, you can count on me, yep snarfer snarfer." Said Snarfer.  With that Pumyra, Lynx-O, and Bengali raced to the hanger.  They got there and hopped into the Thunderstrike.  The hangar door opened and the Thunderstrike shot off towards the Cat Signal.  "Lynx-O, where is the Signal coming from?" Pumyra asked from her pod.  "It is coming from Castle Plundaar, no, it is coming from just a bit more East." Said Lynx-O.  "Rowr, if they're that close to Castle Plundaar we had better hurry.  No telling what those mutants have cooked up this time." Said Bengali.  They put on a burst of speed and shot off towards the Signal.

    Meanwhile, at Cats Lair Tygra and Wiley Kat were in the control room while Wiley Kit and Snarf were in the kitchen making snacks. (If you really want to know, they were making Candyfruit pies. Mmmm delicious) In the control room Tygra and Wiley Kat saw the Cat Signal up on the monitor. "Tygra, it's the Cat Signal!  Lion-O and the others are in trouble!" yelled Wiley Kat.  In the kitchen Wiley Kit and Snarf were waiting for the pies to be ready when the Cat Signal shone through the kitchen window.  "Brrr it's the Cat Signal.  Come on Kit, we had better go find Tygra and Wiley Kat." Said Snarf.  They ran out of the kitchen and into the control room.  "Good you're here, said Tygra, Snarf, you stay here and guard the Lair.  The kittens and I will go and help the others."  "All right Tygra, snarf snarf, but hurry." Said Snarf.  Tygra and the kittens ran out of the control room and down to the hangar.  Tygra hopped on the Hovercat while the kittens took their spaceboards.  "Tygra, the signal looks like it is coming from Castle Plundaar!" yelled Wiley Kit.  Tygra pressed a few buttons on the Hovercat.  A digital screen popped up and a little X blipped just East of Castle Plundaar.  "They are in a little clearing east of Castle Plundaar." Yelled Tygra.  "We had better hurry." Wiley Kat yelled.  They raced off towards the Signal. Snarf watched on the monitor as the three Thundercats sped off.  "I hope they get there in time, snarf snarf." He sighed.  All of a sudden a disgusting aroma reached his nostrils.  "Snarf, what is that smell?!!  Oh no!  The pies!"  With that Snarf raced to the kitchen and removed the smoldering, burnt black, candyfruit pies from the oven.  He opened up a window and let out the black smoke.  Snarf looked up into the sky and saw something that terrified him.  The Cat Signal had just flickered out before his eyes.  " Oh no! Lion-O!!" Snarf screamed.

    The mutants had recovered from the itching powder and their mutant reinforcements had arrived.  There were at least twenty mutants in all.  Most were carrying primitive, but effective, weapons such as spears, axes, and shields like Monkian.  Wolfian's crew, however, were much more advanced and carried laser guns.  Lion-O had had to use the sword to block an attack. This led to the Cat Signal flickering out.  Lion-O, Cheetara, and Panthro were trying to protect Chetania, but were being overpowered.  "Cheetara, watch out!" yelled Chetania.  A reptile mutant had snuck up behind her while she was fighting another mutant and was about to take her head off with an axe.  Cheetara, using her cheetah speed, jumped out of the way causing the two mutants to collide.  Panthro had easily taken down many mutants, but could not stop five or ten mutants from slipping past him to get to Chetania.  Mutants were pouring out of Castle Plundaar, Vultureman had joined the fight, and all of Wolfian's crew had woken up.  Now there were around fifty mutants.  "Chetania, run for it." Yelled Lion-O.  "No, let me help you fight." Said Chet.  " As Lord of the Thundercats, I command you to get to safety." Said Lion-O as he was dodging laser fire.  Chet could not argue with this and began to run towards the forest.  She knew she could use her full speed when she got into the forest.

As she was running regular speed she heard a scream from behind her and felt pain going through her body.  "Ahhh" Chet screamed.  Chet stopped running and turned around.  Cheetara had been hit in her leg with one of the laser guns. "Cheetara!" yelled Panthro and Lion-O.  They tried to get to her, but the others mutants surrounded them.  Wolfian and Slithe stood over Cheetara. "Well look at what we caught.  We finally caught the speedy cheetah.  Now we can get rid of you once and for all." Said Slithe.  He raised his axe high in the air.  "Noooo!" screamed Chet, Lion-O, and Panthro.  Chet began to run towards Slithe, Wolfian, and the wounded Cheetara.  She ran faster and faster until she was just a blue blur.  Slithe's axe came swinging down and CRASH. Chet had crashed headlong into Slithe before he could hurt Cheetara.  Slithe lay on the ground dazed.  Wolfian was stunned and began to say "What the he." but he never finished because Chet turned and sent him sprawling backwards with an exploding throwing star.

Lion-O and Panthro were able to break free from the mutants and helped Chet protect the fallen Cheetara.  All of a sudden blue lasers caused the mutants to fall back.  The Thunderstrike emerged from the sky and pushed the mutants back.  Exploding pellets and more laser fire filled the air as the Hovercat and two spaceboards emerged from the forest.  The mutants, realizing that they could not win, grabbed the unconscious Slithe and Wolfian and ran back to Castle Plundaar.  The Thunderstrike, Hovercat, and the spaceboards landed beside the damaged Thundertank.  The other Thundercats jumped out of their vehicles and raced over to the Lion-O, Panthro, Chetania, and the wounded Cheetara.  "Are you guys okay?" asked Tygra." "In a sense we're okay." Said Panthro.  Pumyra spotted Cheetara on the ground and rushed over to her. "Cheetara, what happened?" asked Pumyra.  "I was shot in the leg with a laser gun." Said Cheetara weakly.  She was still trying to overcome her almost fatal encounter with Slithe.  "Bengali go get the first aid kit from the Thunderstrike." Said Pumyra.  Bengali ran to the Thunderstrike and grabbed a red and white emergency kit and brought it to Pumyra.  She wrapped Cheetara'a wound and helped her up.  "That should be good for now.  We can work on it back at the Lair." Pumyra said.  Cheetara tried to walk, but could not put support on her wounded leg.  "Tygra, carry Cheetara to the Hovercat and get her back to the Lair.  Kittens, can I borrow a space board so I can go with Tygra?" asked Pumyra.  "Sure!" said the kittens.

The whole time this conversation was going on Chet began to feel weak.  There was a sharp pain in her leg, but she was not wounded.  When Cheetara had put pressure on her leg, Chet's leg had been in a lot of pain.  She had had to stifle a small scream of pain.  Tygra gingerly picked up the injured cheetah and placed her in the Hovercat.  Cheetara became very dizzy and slipped out of conciousness.  Chet let out a sigh of relief as the pain was instantly lifted off her leg.  Lion-O heard her sigh and turned to look at her.  The other Thundercats also noticed her.  "Who are you?" asked Wiley Kit.  "Oh, I'm sorry, said Lion-O, this is Chetania.  She is a refugee.  I do not know that much about her.  I only know what Cheetara told me so I will let Chetania explain. Chetania."  Chet was very shy and had to muster up all her courage.  "Um uh, my name is Chetania, um, I escaped Thundera with my family, um uh, we settled on a planet called Oceana, um." Chet was trying to sound calm, but voice began to falter.  She looked at Lion-O with a look that said 'Can we do this later.'  Lion-O got the message.  " We should probably get back to the Lair to take care of Cheetara and Chetania is also injured so lets go." He said.

Wiley Kit and Wiley Kat hopped on the remaining spaceboard and raced off. "Be careful kittens, that board was not made for two people!" Panthro yelled after them. "Don't worry Panthro, we will be right behind them." Said Pumyra. The Hovercat and the spaceboard that carried Pumyra took off after the kittens. The remaning Thundercats hooked the Thundertank to the Thunderstrike so it could be carried back to the Lair.  Bengali hopped into his pod and started up the Thunderstrike.  "Chetania, you can ride with Lynx-O in the main pod.  I will ride in the other pod. Okay?" asked Lion-O.  "Okay Lion-O" said Chet.  She and Lynx-O climbed into the main pod while Lion-O climbed into Pumyra's pod.  Panthro was riding in the Thundertank.  He had said that he wanted to be with his 'baby' and that he could fix some of the main controls on the way.  They lifted off and flew in the direction of Cats Lair.
