Chet looked around the control room. Everyone was there except Tygra and Cheetara. They had opened a link to the Tower of Omens so they could hear the details of the dream too. She had just finished telling the dream and every face had gone whitish green. In Bengali's case, just green. The kittens were shaking and holding each other very tightly.
"Will it come true?" asked Lion-O. He looked very green and there was a quiver in his voice.
"I don't know." Chet answered. That feeling had returned. Like that dream really did tell the future. She shuddered at the thought. "The most we can do talk to the Warrior Maidens. They seem to be the primary target."
"Good idea." Lynx-O said wisely. "We should send a team to go check it out. Oh yes, Lion-O, we picked up an unknown object heading towards Third Earth. Under closer surveillance we discovered that it was an escape pod. We need to send someone to fetch it before it enters our atmosphere."
"Alright." Lion-O said. He thought for a couple minutes. "Cheetara will need medical inspection so Pumyra, will you, Bengali, and Snarfer come to the Lair. I will send the kittens to the Tower to help you Lynx-O."
"OK Lion-O." all five of them replied.
"I will take Chet and Bengali with me to the Tree Top Kingdom. Pumyra and Tygra will watch over Cheetara and the Lair with Snarf. Panthro, you and Snarfer will go pick up the escape pod." Lion-O said.
"Thundercats HOOOO." They all shouted. At the Tower Pumyra, Bengali, and Snarfer hopped into the Thunderstrike and sped off towards Cats Lair. Back at Cats Lair, the kittens hopped on their spaceboards and headed off to the Tower. Panthro went down to the hangar to fire up the Feliner. Snarf went down to sickbay to inform Tygra of their plans. This left Lion-O and Chetania in the Control room.
A pain had been nagging at the back of Chet's mind for a couple minutes now. It felt like someone had released a lot of powerful energy for evil purposes. This cast an eerie feeling in her mind. She tried to find the source, but failed.
"Chet, are you alright?" asked Lion-O. Chetania snapped out of her thoughts.
"Huh, what?" she asked, very confused.
"I asked if something was wrong. You had a dazed look on your face." he asked, sounding very concerned.
"No, I'm fine. I was just thinking, that's all." She answered. The feeling was still tingling, but it was not as bad as before. The console began to beep. Lion-O rushed over to it.
"Cats Lair here. Go ahead." He said.
"We are almost there, Lion-O" came Pumyra's voice.
"Good." Lion-O answered. "Keep the Thunderstrike running Pumyra. We are going to use it to get to the Tree Top Kingdom."
"Alright, now touching down. Extend the draw bridge and we can switch." Pumyra said.
Chet pushed a button and the draw bridge began to extend. With that she and Lion-O ran out of Cats Lair and towards the Thunderstrike. Pumyra and Snarfer were running towards them.
"Pumyra, Tygra is waiting for you down in sick bay. Snarfer, Panthro is waiting in the hangar." Lion-O said as they passed eachother. The other two nodded and they ran their separate ways.
"Rowl, hop in the pods." Bengali said. Chet and Lion-O jumped into separate pods and the Thunderstrike took off. It flew over the forest. They traveled in silence. Each wondering what to expect when they arrived. Finally, Bengali spoke up.
"We are nearing the village." He said. "We should touch down in about a minute."
They flew over a clearing and descended into it. A few Warrior Maidens had run to meet them. The Thundercats recognized them as Willa, Nayda, and Juna, a younger maiden. The Thunderstike landed and the three Thundercats exited their pods.
"Welcome Thundercats." Willa greeted. "What brings you here?"
"Well, Cheetara had a nightmare last night." Lion-O began. "She saw a human man and he wreaked destruction and death all over Third Earth. We believe he originated from here or around here, in a man village."
Willa looked stunned. She turned to Nayda. Nayda nodded and ran back to the village with Juna.
"Please follow me Thundercats." Willa said sternly.
