Xyra (in response to Cabaret Rock Nouveau! - Xyra -&- Verborgen 10/Aug/2000:21:42:02
Hallo, Eppo -

Yes, I realize VERBORGEN is a Dutch word, too. The definition posted
on the Xyra -&- Verborgen Castle Entrance (front) page was taken from an
unabridged German dictionary. I should research any differences in
meaning between the Dutch and German. Are there any differences, from
your perspective?

Thanks for signing the official Xyra -&- Verborgen guest book!
We hope you enjoyed the site and music!

Your response is always welcome!

Warm regards -
Xyra von Verborgen

Fabulous music, stunning site! Besides outstanding instrumentation and
vocals, Xyra's compositions reveal superb lyrical imagery.
Song samples for Frightening Beauty, the Nico tribute and Train to
Paris were especially enjoyable for me!

Maybe that big break is looming on the horizon?
Sounds like you deserve one!

Love your music!

Frightening Beauty describes you well, but I'm not scared yet. Great
affiliations, concepts and associations. Very deep, but accessible!

Thank you!

Interesting site!

Xyra, you and your art are unique.
Your voice is amazing!

The world needs more artists with imagination! This makes minds grow,
stimulated by different perspectives. Most follow. Few can lead!

Art is life, when life is art.

Waiting for news on your tour.

I remember hearing you singing along to Bryan Ferry tapes, driving
around in my Porche. How you have blossomed!

Greece glistens in the sunshine, beckoning you to sing for us there.

Fine Musicians!

Found you through The Orchard! Wonderful site! I enjoyed surfing.

First I looked for mp3 songs. I've heard "He Gave It all Away" and I
got so impressed that I purchased all three CD's of Xyra and Verborgen,
I know!! The first two I've got meanwhile and all my expectations are
more than filled up.

The songs have a wonderful peacefull melody, the texts are full of
esprit, wisdom and love.

It would be great, when Xyra and Verborgen would come one day on Europe
concert tour!

All the best for your further work and have succees!!

Dear Xyra -

Recently a friend of mine purchased a wonderful CD of yours online called Shadows of Light -- GOREGEOUS! I was curious about
the longer CD, Frightening Beauty. There are additional songs that rouse my interest, so I am buying that one for myself!

If you ever find yourself in RI -- we will absolutely come see you!

Best of luck to you and your band!

We reside in Europe, so it is doubtful we will be able to attend.

Best of luck with the Frightening Beauty release.
We shall look forward to hearing it.
