The warm rising sun pierced through the clouds, melting the night's frostbitten air and causing every last star to fade. The cricket's chirp was replaced with the light morning songs of the mockingbirds and the small brown thrush. It had rained throughout the night, leaving the place damp and giving off the smell of the fresh morning dew. Beads of small water tricklets were ordorned like minature crystals around a small spider's web while small droplets of rain rolled off a large green leaf and falling into a small pond that was created by the night's life giving rainfall.

A small petite face of a young kitten appeared in the puddle as a reflection looking down at itself with wide curious eyes. Another sudden drop trickled into the puddle and the kitten's eyes glanced at it. It was then shortly followed by another drop and her eye darted to where it had fallen. The kitten smiled at the small and tranquil drops as they landed in the pond, becoming part of it with a single high pitched drip. Suddenly, a small green tree frog plopped itself right on top of her reflection, causing the mirror image of herself in the water to stir with small ripples that quickly expanded then settled. The young feline gasped as she stared at the anmiphibian that sat there projecting its red bubble on its throat, then sucking it back in. She began to sniff it, but the frog hopped and startled, she back off. But still being the curious cat she was she followed it as it continued to leap every few minutes. When it had settled on a rock, she stared at it with her face inches away from the creature.

Just then a voice broke the silence, "Sillabub!"

Her ears pricked as her head was lifted.

"Sillabub, where are you?" came the voice again, this time with more feeling in it.

Sillabub glanced back at the rock only to find the frog gone. The calling continued and she decided to answer to it. She ran through the tall grass with a her huge radiant smile and stopped when she reached her good friend, Demeter, who sat on a pile of wood just outside of the small meadow from which Sillabub had came.

Demeter shook her head, "I thought I'd find you out here. Come now, join us at the junkyard. We're all there wondering where you are."

Sillabub trailed behing the ginger feline as Demeter then replied, bursting the kitten's thought of the strange green creature she had seen earlier. "Honestly Sillabub, must you go out wondering in the fields? The least you could do is let us know where you are."

Sillabub shook her head, "Oh Demmi, I'm old enough to take care of myself."

Demeter stopped in her tracks causing Sillabub to run into her hind quarters. Demeter snapped around with a smirk and said with one raised eyebrow, "Oh so all of a sudden we're as old as Gus the Theater Cat?"

Sillabub rolled her eyes with a grin, "I didn't say that."

Demeter laughed as she sat next to her and whispered, "You right though, you are getting older."

Sillabub smiled as she looked away bashfully.

"No, you are!" Demeter persisted. She then brought her tone of voice down a level as she asked, "Have you met that special 'someone' yet?"

Sillabub shot a shocked glance at her with wide eyes as her smile dissapeared, "What?" she asked in a whisper.

"No one huh?"

Sillabub's smile then slowly broke through and she answered shyly, "Not yet." and after a moment of silent thinking, she turned to Demeter and said, "Demmi, what's it like to...to meet the special 'someone'"?

The shocked look was then transferred upon Demeter. "What's it like?" Demeter looked away as she thought of her and Munkustrap, "Well, it's something wonderful." her eyes then glazed over Sillabub as her mind wondered, "It's like you're not the same cat anymore. Like you've met that 'someone' who's changed your life all for the better and you begin to love who you are, and your bond together grows." she then smiled as she whispered, "And when you do meet the 'someone' and you know it's definite, that's when you say the three most endorsing words of your entire life."

With wide eyes, Sillabub asked, "And what are those three words?"

"I love - and your third word is that special 'someone'! It's like a seal on your relationship. Like bringing it to a higher level after you've realized that this is him."

Sillabub couldn't stop smiling as she repeated, "I love-" and her minded thought to herself, *I wonder what that third word will be.*

Later that day, Sillabub wondered around the junkyard bored out of her mind. Most of the jellicles were at their master's home - something which Sillabub didn't have. But she didn't mind. She had great friends that cared and loved her and that was all she needed. With nothing else to do, Sillabub decided to go exploring around the junkyard for it was constantly changing with new piles of trash that's deposited nearly everyday. In her hand she held a small red ball that she found and fiddled with as she journeyed to the far outskirts of the junkyard where it was gloomy and extremly contaminated. There she found many fascinating things but what really caught her eye was something huge, new and colorful. They were vertically large stainglass windows - something Sillabub had never seen before. The multicolored glass pieces, reflected the sun's brilliant rays causing an aurora of psychedelic rays to shine from it. Sillabub couldn't believe the beauty in this and it's capability of taking in the sun's light and giving it off in a kaleidoscope of rainbow coloration. Transfixed by this, the young jellicle sauntered towards it till her mesmorized face was inches from the crumpled stainglass. She could see her reflection slightly and smiled at it.

Suddenly her smile dissapeared when she noticed her reflection was being interferred with another figure. She glanced behind her but no one was there. She looked back at the glass and the mysterious figure was still there. She then realized it was one the other side of the glass. It's reflection was much larger than hers and contorted by the stainglass' crinkled designed cuts. Still puzzled by this, Sillabub slowly held up her paw and saw that the unknown image did the same acting as if it were her own reflection. She then placed her paw on the glass and the figure did as well. Sillabub let out a soft giggle. She wanted to know who this character was but suddenly fear overtook her emotions. This was a complete stranger. Was he dangerous? With such questions flying through her head, she quickly placed her paw down and was about to run off but was deing to know who this person was. Sillabub then began to run parallel to the glass, running towards the end of the giant rectangular stainglass window to peek on the other side. She then noticed as she glanced beside her at the glass that the figure was running with her like her own reflection. She realized they would meet at the end of the window pane. The young jellicle ran faster and so did the cat one the other side.
