Proofreading ($20 per page)

Proofreading is the process of reviewing your material a final time before it's sent to the printer, to a client, or published on the internet for literally the world (as in "World Wide Web") to see. During the proofreading process, I can also review and revise content for dramatic impact, literary form, and clarity of purpose.

Editing ($25 per page)

Editing involves analyzing text for ways in which it can be rewritten so that it's correct, clear, concise, and easy to understand. Editing can transform even the most technical or complex technical jargon into easily accessible writing that can elucidate while it entertains.

By using e-mail you can send documents that you would like worked on, and detail the specific manner in which you want your work reviewed. I'll rewrite or edit to your specifications, then send them back to you with any changes clearly marked added and/or corrected.

I can also review your online and intranet content from across the internet. Simply send your server information and I'll log in remotely.

Web Design (Per project basis)

Why is the internet so popular and why should you be interested in establishing a web presence for your business? Isn't "word of mouth" sufficient?

You can visit many places throughout the world in seconds once you're online, and more importantly they can visit you, when you have a presence on the internet. "Word of mouth" is great for generating local business, but it won't gain you exposure beyond that.

This is why it's essential not only to have a functioning and relevant website, but to make sure that it looks professional, provides the right image for your business, and it gives you the results you want to achieve. I can give you those results.

Copywriting ($50 per page)

If you don't want to write your own material, or would like help tailoring direct response copy for your business, then you can simply let me do it for you. I've worked for several media organizations and can deliver succinct and interesting ad copy and marketing collateral across a full range of materials, on any topic. Writing, developing attention-getting Web sites, communicating across all forms of media, is something I love to do; so why not let me do what comes naturally to make certain your business needs are fully met?

Resumes ($50 per resume) & Related Letters ($20 per letter)

Since resumes are assignments I enjoy, and can accomplish with both ease and (relative) haste, why shouldn't you pay less for the best service? Here's how the process works: Upon receiving your order/request, I'll send you an informational form to fill out. Once that data is collected, I can get to work on your resume and/or cover letter. When finished, you receive a hard copy of your resume and/or letter e-mailed to your address in Word and PDF format (if you wish).

To see a good example of what I can do with resumes, take a look at the before and after comparison below. This took me less than an hour after I got all the person's employment information. To go from the before image to the next, after image, just click the word "next." To see the image expanded, just click on it.

Copy Editing ($25 per page)

In addition to the above, I attend to grammar, word choice, clarity, and consistency in style while formatting to produce tightened, fresh copy guaranteed to pack a punch.

Content Editing ($25 per page)

Here I rearrange and restructure the material to improve quality and readability; similar to Copy Editing but more intense. In addition to copy editing, I also review the copy's structure, flow, agreement of stated numbers and percentages, and presentation style. Again, this can also be priced on hourly basis, as some documents will require more revision than others and hence more time.

Rewriting ($25 per page)

Here I revise and write new text in line with draft, notes, or an outline. This may call for further research and involves substantial changes in organization and style. Definitely higher on the fun-o-meter.

Writing ($50 per page)

In this, I create original material based on notes, rough draft, and resource materials. This is probably the most fun. Costs per document, in addition to more in-depth communications regarding content, need to be agreed upon before beginning.
