Turk's Junk was created in the fall of '99. For the most part a fairly pathetic and selfish excuse for a website. It was also the first web page I had ever made so the coding was horrible. I wasn't ever sure where I was taking it. I'm still not sure, however, I looked at it and saw how terrible it looked and decided it was time for a face lift.

So here Turk's Junk is today. It seems to look much better, and its sporting an alliance with AKA.com. The fact I have an agreement with them for this site was one of the bigger motivators for me to actually do something with this site. I intend to honor that agreement. But still, the biggest reason I made complete changes to this site was just how difficult it was for me to look at it.

I hate fancy IDE's for HTML and such so I type my work up completely in simple text editors. Most of this page was typed up in Windows Notepad. I type all my own HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc. Everthing here is simple and easy to read. Use whatever you like from it...under one condition, you don't use anything stupid like Dreamweaver or Frontpage or something. I'd take that as an insult.
