Fair Play
By Kenneth R. Cabrieto

          You live life,
So tell me how it's fair,
          Sacrifices are made,
          To make a hard decsion,
          Only to be told,
Nothing is ever going to happen,
          Dreams crumble like dust,
And get carried away by the wind,
          Only to be forever lost,
You think you've fallen in love,
Only to find it's just lust,
You pledge your forever to them,
          So they in turn,
          Stay with you,
It feels like they're never there,
You may as well be alone,
Lonliness is easier when you're alone,
A lot harder when you're with someone,
          Just live life,
          It's not always fair,
          Just consider the days,
          That the future can come,
It's just never the future that you want,
          Life is not fair,
          Why can't it be,
          Why can't you be?
