Intro

Come on and follow me to Evermore.
But before you step through the door
Let me try and warn you
Everything here is true.
There are things you might not want to see.
You'll get a glimpse of what it's like to be me.
You'll see the people I see every day,
And also those who I avoid if there is a way.
Take notice of the people I try to save,
Feel the pain, when I fail, we can go visit graves.
I know it's not my duty, I know I'm not a knight,
I just try to do what I think feels right.
Look around, we're surrounded by sorrow,
People slitting their writs, they don't want to see tomorrow.
We can pity them all we want, but our pity won't help.
In this place all that matters is what's inside yourself.
So build up your heart, keep your mind at it's wittiest.
I'll guide you through, even when things are at their shittiest.
Keep your hands inside the cab, we'll soon be admiring the lore.
Keep your seatbelts tightly fastened, this is Evermore.
