The curse placed on the inner sanctum of the Battle Demon s quite terrifying, actually being several curses wrapped up in one nice neat deadly little package.

For the first day, he victim of the curse will find his healing powers negated and all mystical healing ceases to affect them. Any attempts to heal the cursed character will induce a great sickness within him, causing him or her to vomit profusely, and basically feel sick as though he or she had the flu. ((Game masters feel free to inflict penalties as you see fit)).

The next week, the character will break out in pimples which reek quite badly, all around the character will smell a scent akin to vomit, this can not be cured by any means, on the plus side though, the effects from the first week disappear.

The third week the character will be riodically wracked with pain, the kind you get when a bone snaps, nauseating and excruciating. This pain occurs about once a day and lasts for an hour at a time. The infliction from the second week is gone .

The fourth week brings paranoia. Overriding fear that the world is out to get the character. He/she will hear voices within their mind and will have terrible visions of themselves being torn apart, apparitions will plague the victim constantly and their worst fears will play out before their eyes.

They last leg or the curse is the finale of the characters life. The curse will seem to be over, the character will feel fine. The seventh day after the affects of the curse seemingly disappear, the character will begin to have headaches, minor at first but increasing in strength and duration. On the seventh hour of the pain starting, the characters brain will cease to function, and shortly thereafter, they will die.

This curse may be broken simply by returning through the lair and replacing any items removed from the inner sanctum. The curse may also be ended by Brok Redman at any time, and serves as a beacon for him. While the curse is in effect, the demon may locate the afflicted at any time.
