The Great WarMany High School textbooks discuss Wars in a matter of pages or paragraphs. This article is an attempt to bring greater perspective to all the articles within this magazine and emphasize the importance of the human element within war. The decisions we make and the disgraceful consequences have lasting effects. The authors show the place of WWI in the 20th Century and some of the positive and negative effects of this war on the time period, on the years after the war and our history.
