Confessions

Tears poured down her face. He could never be hers. Not in a million years,
or even longer than that, would he look at her the way he looks at the other
girls.

"Can't you see I love you? It hurts so much to love you." Pan whispered, but
the only thing that heard was the wind whipping around her face. Hair flew
around her, swirling in pretty patterns about her face.

"Trunks." more tears came "I.love you.I need you, want you. You're the world
to me.Can't you see?"

Running down her face, unchecked, came buckets of tears.

"Trunks!" She sobbed, taking heart-wrenching breaths, breaths that would
break a human's ribs.

Her hands came up to cover her face as she sobbed on the roof. It was the
roof of his building; Capsule Corp. seemed to tower over every other thing
in the city. Pan had found it the best place to cry. No one could find you
here because no one ever looked on top of buildings.

Arms coming around to hug herself, Pan shivered. Nothing would ever be of
her and Trunks; they were just too different.and yet in some ways.so alike.

"Stop thinking about him, Pan! He can never be yours! You're living in a
silly little fantasy world!" Pan yelled at herself over the strong wind.

Suddenly, the wind died, and Pan could hear footsteps. She wiped her eyes.
Turning around to face them, Pan almost killed herself. Her eyes widened as
she shook her head in denial.

"No, not you. You're not supposed to be here. Go away," Pan managed to
stutter.

"I can be where ever I want to be, Panny."

Pan's heart leapt with new hope at the affection shown, but fell in the same
instant. There wasn't supposed to be hope for her and him. "Please.don't
call me Panny."

"Would you rather Panny-chan?"

Even worse.he'd never call her that because he loved her.he's teasing;
having his fun.he heard all she said. They both knew it.

He could never understand the emotional turmoil that swirled in franfic
thoughts in her head. Just him being here...right in front of her...so
easy...just step forward...

"T-Trunks.j-just.P-p-please go a-away." As she uttered this plea, Pan looked
down, not wishing to see him. It was too painful. His eyes.blue as the ocean
and twice as deep. His hair.purple.like lilacs.she loved lilacs.

He walked right up to her until he was centimeters away. "I heard every
single thing you said about me, Pan. I saw your tears and watched them
fall."

'What are you standing there for, you jerk?! Kiss me, hug me, love me, do
something to me to show you care!' Pan thought desperately. 'You've just got
to love me.' Pan wiped her tears but more came.

She thought Trunks would say it would never work out between them.

"Pan look at me."

Pan looked down. It hurt her to much to look at him.

He touched her chin and brought her face up to look at him.

She tried not to look, but found she couldn't help herself. She tried to not
to blush as their eyes met, but she did.

"Panny-chan, I think you are a wonderful girl. I didn't know I liked you
until we went looking for the dark star dragon Balls. Then I realized you
aren't a kid; you're a very beautiful woman. And I love you,"

Pan blushed at Trunks. To her surprise and delight...

He kissed her.

Pan was shocked at first; then closed her eyes and kissed back.

"I love you Pan-Chan." He smiled at her and she gave him another kiss.

"I love you too." She smiled adoringly up at him.

Wrapping his arms around her waist, Trunks pulled her against him in a
lovingly hug. Pan found herself so tired, and lay her head against his
chest.

Minutes later, Trunks looked down to see she'd fallen asleep. He kissed the
top of her head, picked up her in his arms, and flew her home. Luckily for
Trunks, her window was open, so he wouldn't have to deal with Gohan just
yet...

He kissed her cheek and whispered in her ear that he loved her.

And flew off.

"I love you, too, Trunks." Pan whispered in her sleep, "More than you'll
ever understand."
