Pocket Pikachu

Pocket Pikachu, Nintendo's Tamagotchi remake, has been all the craze this summer. Now, Nintendo plans to follow up the wacky, little Pokemon toy with a Pocket Pikacu Color. In a nod to the Gameboy Color, Nintendo has given Pocket Pikachu a color appearance. The bad news to us Americans(U.S. and Canada alike) is that there is no NA planned release. Even if you are lucky enough to live in Japan, only 60,000 will be made. You think that's a lot? Think how many people live in Japan. Think of how many people will order it from other nations! This Pokemon craze is insane!

The lovable Pikachu will sell for about $27, not much different from the old, yaller one. This new Pikachu won't be yellow though(not the case at least). Because Nintendo just loves clear stuff(Gameboys, N64 controllers, etc.), it has made this Pikachu a clear case. Also, it will have a built in pedometer(motion detector). If you take a walk and decide to take your Pikachu, the motion sensor will pick up movement and Pikachu will start walking too. "Cool" you say? Nintendo has decided to make this a mini-Color Gameboy. It will have an infrared comm. port that you can exchange watts and presents with your friends Pikachu. I also found out that it will somehow be linked to Pokemon Gold/Silver. Hmmm.....

Oh, you just wanna know don't you?! Well, okay. You can trade in your watts for some items in Pokemon Gold/Silver that you would never have been able to get had you not had the special Pikachu tagging along.

I hope that you manage to get your greedy, little hands on this great collectors' piece! As for me, I'm going to ask my uncle(lives in Japan) to get one for me. Ha...Ha...Ha...Haaaa! I gonna get one and you're not! Just joking.
