Anywho, back to the story at hand. So, as I was saying, this is the only Night World where witches are the main focus. Thea and Blaise Harman, our stars, are the last of the line of the Harmen witches, who are the most direct and pure decendants of Hellewise. The Harmans throughout history are the most strongest witches and usually the leaders. Unfortunately for the Harmans, Thea and Blaise are troublemakers and get moved around a lot. Actually Blaise is the troublemaker and Thea gets caught in the middle.
So, now, after the final straw, they have to move to Las Vegas with their grandmother, who is the head of all witches. She’s one tough cookie! So, of course, just when it really matters, it’s finally Thea’s turn to get in trouble all by herself. And of course it had to be just about the worst thing a Night Worlder could do. This is a big no-no…like, death penalty no-no. She falls in love with a human, Eric. ::gasp::. Oh no!
He’s a great guy and he definitely loves Thea a lot. There’re soulmates! I’d say out of all the Night World guys, he’s the most responsive and accepting of their love, he doesn’t fight it (Ash, Quinn) or try to control it (Delos, Theirry), he just loves her. I’m going to go out here and also make a wild statement to some of you. I think Thea and Eric are the most truly in love, along with James and Poppy, compared to the other soulmates. They don’t care about anything else. They would follow each other to death. I like them a lot.
I honestly don’t have any favorite scenes in particular for Spellbinder. It’s not that I didn’t like this one, I definitely did, it’s just that nothing stuck out for me. Don’t fret, I do have a few favorite quotes!
