- Make Protective amulets
- Scatter Midsummer Balefire over fields for fertility
- Dry Summer herbs
- Do magic of all kinds
Solitary Activities
- Go to a theme park, a zoo, or maybe a lake and just be lazy. This is a great day for being lazy.
- Have a private ritual and meditate on the power of the sun.
- If you see a homeless person when out and about, offer to buy them a Gatorade, it will re-hydrate them and at the same time give their body some essential nutrients. Many homeless people live off of liquer and beer, neither of which are very healthy. It's a kind gesture to offer them something different.
- Try getting rid of the bad things in your life (ex. bad attitude, sickness, etc.)

- Go to a Rennaissance Faire.
- Relax!!
Activities for Kids!
Summer is the time when kids get done with school. At least until September. Make time to have fun with your kids relaxing and playing together.
- Make Midsummer Wreaths
- Take a family vacation somewhere fun!
- Read stories about summertime. The Meagan Stories
- Go swimming at a nearby lake.
- Take your children to a Renaissance Faire. They're fun, with lots of food, colorful costums and activities for all to enjoy. (My son really enjoyed the jousting tournaments last year. For $1, some places even have the kids 12 and under get a chance to whack a knight.)
- Remember to always answer your child's questions simply and honestly. They will lead you in what it is they want to know and when.
