To Owen:There are special people in life that are rare jewels in deed. Forever in my heart, the memory of Owen will live within me
Just a short time I got to watch him which seemed like spending time together But such a deep lasting impression on my heart he has made forever
Yes, maybe a short time on earth for him you see But even longer then most because he lives on forever in thousands of peoples memories
Tears may fall from time to time in thought of this great man among men But they are tears of love and admiration that I do send
How do I say thank you to someone who touched my life that I never knew? Remembering the memories now and forever is what I will do.
Thank you Owen for all the happiness and smiles you brought to me!:)

Hi! I just wanted to tell my story of when I met Owen. I was not into wrestling at the time, my husband was. It was the weekend of Wrestlemania 13 and Owen and Davey Boy were signing at the Toys R Us in Schaumburg, IL. We waited in line for a very long time. While we were waiting in line I had on a T- shirt and it reminds me of Owen every time I wear it. Right when we were about to get up to them, it was time for them to go. They made an announcement that they were going to walk around the line to say HI to everyone. Davey Boy walked by first and fast (he had to go to the bathroom). Then Owen took his time saying hi and shaking hands.Well I am a shy person and I didn't really know much about wrestling, so I hid behind my husband and the rest of the crowd. Here comes Owen ... he reaches through the crowd to shake my hand, smiles and says "Hi". I was so excited I couldn't believe that he even saw me. He could have just walked by and I would have never even thought about it. But now I always think about it, it made me feel special. I didn't know him personally (of course) but I could tell just by that, that he was a very special person. He could make anyone feel like they were special and important, just by looking and smiling at them, and he still does just by the thought. He was a wonderful person and I am very sorry for his family. Happy Birthday Owen.... We all miss you dearly. Love Always,

I do not have a particular story or remember too many of his fights because I was too young at the time. When he died, I really felt bad because when I did watch Owen I enjoyed it and made a special web page of my own to celebrate his memory.

We miss you Owen. Your honesty and integrity was like a fresh of breath air. If Heaven has a wrestling federation, no doubt you are its brightest star. I will celebrate your birthday this weekend for its my birthday too.....
