The Blue Star Memorial Marker in Walla Walla is located on the west side of the city on the grounds of the Jonathan M. Wainright Memorial V.A. Medical Center. There is a statue of General Wainright in the middle of the parade grounds in front of the main hospital building. The Blue star marker is across the drive to the NE of the pareade grounds. This marker was sponsored by the Blue Mountain District of the Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs in 2001.
