Praise for MARY ELIZABETH PARKER

"Mary Parker's poems reveal, like bared trees, 'whole lives you may not have seen.' "
~ Fred Chappell, acclaimed writer
and Poet Laureate of North Carolina

"These are odd, beautiful poems by Mary Elizabeth Parker,
many story-telling, more with the logic of dreams or fairy tales."
~ author Robert Watson, professor emeritus,
University of North Carolino at Greenboro

"The Sex Girl is an amazingly mature first book of finely honed,
often startling images...this is a splendid collection of poetry."
~ Eve Shelnutt, Professor of English,
The College of the Holy Cross
