WALTZING WATERS

CRABTREE

TASMANIA

Waltzing Waters is a 12 acre property situated in the beautiful HUON VALLEY in Tasmania.

Tasmania was once known as the "Apple Isle" with the Huon Valley being the major region for apple production.

Presumably Crabtree is named after a variety of apple called the 'crab apple'...
an anonymous email states-"As told to me by Murray Fyfe You followed a track through the crabtrees in the grove (of apple trees at Grove presumably) to get to where the river was."
(many thanks for the info)

The Crabtree area has several certified "A" organic herb or vegetable farms...

Have a look around Walting Waters-the home(takes while to load)or go to Default Photo Album (which is quicker....)

We are trying to protect Eucalyptus viminalis a vulnerable native plant.
