The WLRCA is an organization of women's mounted drill teams based in Washington and Oregon. It was formed in the Spring of 1980 with the Ellensburg Silver Spurs, Yakima Kuntry Kwik Steppers, Tacoma Lariettes and the Galloping Gossips as charter members.

The WLRCA holds a minimum of four meetings per year, January, March, June and September, with the annual Convention in October. The Officers are elected in October and take office in January.

Mebership in the WLRCA costs $125.00 per team per year, payable at Convention. Entry fee for the drill competition at State Meet is an additional $75.00 per team, payable by the June meeting.

Each member team has two votes, and teams usually send two representatives to the meetings. The Officers of the WLRCA need not be voting representatives of their respective teams. The meetings are open to anyone from any team, whether they are voting representatives or not.
