The Fire Within
Shatania, Guardian of Fire and Untamed Souls
You can see the fire in the eyes
Of troubled souls as they rise
To float among the clouded skies,
Now immune to all the desperate lies.
Their bodies placed in sacred rooms
Where ghostly shadows ever loom,
Born out of the misty gloom,
But trapped within the solemn tombs.
There are meadows where the lonely cry,
They weep, but don't understand why,
Where they calmly wait for their turn to die,
Just waiting for a chance to fly.
They weep because nobody cares
That they freeze within the frigid airs
Pulled by frosted-colored mares,
Yet confined inside evil's lairs.
Now the fire within them does no longer burn,
And still no one shows concern,
And for nothing more they yearn;
For everything there is, they've learned.
