Well, how do I explain this one???
As far as I can recall, I had been on a night out with Jade, and we were with a friend... Ian! (Who we had just met) I can VAGUALY recall walking along the road to Jade's house, straight from the night-club, and we came to the set of temporary traffic lights, (due to roadworks around the real light system!)
For some reason, (I'm blaming alien suggestive procedures,) I felt the need to take home... Yes, you've guessed it,
I guess it was quite an ordinary thing to do, but the wierd thing was that I wasn't sure the next morning if I had dreamed the whole escapade, or not! I decided to check, and got out of my bed, (which I shared at the time with the present lodger - Stephen - who was, at the time due in from work off night shift!!!) I went downstairs, and to my shock, and suprise...
There sitting innocently in the middle of the hallway was this HUGE traffic cone!
I didn't say a word, and crept past it quietly (So as not to waken it) and into the kitchen!
I heard the front door go, and the next thing...
"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS DOING HERE???"
Yes Stephen was home!
I went into the hallway, and calmly introduced him to Tommy! He seemed slightly stunned, and then looked me up and down, (I was wearing nothing except a flimsy green satain nightdress,) and asked me to come to bed and explain it all!!!
Later that strange day, I got up to get Stephen, Jade, Ian and I a well deserved cup of tea each, and I noticed that...
Tommy was GONE!!!
I aroused the others, and we searched the premesis!! We eventually found Tommy, hiding in a corner of Jade's brothers room, he was terrified. It wasn't until we were able to retrieve him, and see him in full daylight that we realised why Tommy had been so scared. Jade's brother, and his evil mates, had defaced poor Tommy, with gratuitis messages and pictures, all over his reflective waist band! Try as we might, we were devistated to find that it was impossible to remove the stains of that hidious permanant marker!
It was at that point that it was decided that Tommy would be safer at my house!!! (Unfortunatly I live at the opposite end of town to Jade, so it was agreed that he should be taken in my car!) We all piled into the car, and I struggled to get Tommy into the boot! (I only own a Nissan Micra!!!) It was impossible, so it was decided to let him sit in the back seat, sprawled across several of my other friends who offered to 'help' out! - (Thanks Nicky, Hayley, and Mark!!!)
So, leaving the other two blokes behind, Nicky, Hayley, Mark, Jade, me and Tommy ALL piled into this tiny car, and I drove back to my house!!! We invited Tommy in, and assured him he would be safe here!!!
Tommy decided that he liked my house, and decided that he wanted to stay for a few days, and of course he was made very welcome. Tommy told me that he enjoyed the time he spent with me, especially the party held in my front room, were every body crashed over with him, and kept him company!!!
It was the next day, after the party, that Tommy decided to leave our company. We escorted him to a large roundabout, (called "No. 1 Roundabout") that he had spotted on his way to my house, and he decided to make this his new home!!!
