Well, it seems like AGES ago that I was at the Cricketers listening to "Sweet Child of Mine" being played by The Unknown. I've since looked into purchasing my own electric guitar due to the restrictions on the frets on my acoustic. It's quite wrist-breaking trying to reach round the body of the guitar to the 15th fret! ~:oP
I have, however, been offered the loan of one from one of my best friends, Mark, and can't wait to have a practice!
This bank holiday weekend was really groovy, other than the fact that I was laid up in bed most of the time thanks to tonsilitus - OK, OK, I know that I shouldn't be able to get that without tonsils, but I'm weird OK! - and the time when I wasn't in bed snuggled up with my lemsip, (or downstairs snuggled up with The Crow video!) then I probably should have been. But I don't care, I stayed cooped up until Saturday evening when some of my friends felt sorry for me and invited me to Annfield Plain. I toddled over and had a really great night including signing my handprint on my friends' bedroom wall in white paint!
In the morning, I popped round to Mark & Rhi's house where I found myself knee-deep in DIY! ~:o) I felt a bit inadequate as Rhi started taking off the sink and I didn't have a clue what I was supposed to be doing! - Now I remember why I hired in someone to re-do my kitchen! ~:oP
But, apparently I was an extra helping hand and if nothing else, I went next door to wash the mugs for the cups of tea coz the water was turned off at their house!
Not much more to say at the minute, am going to get shot if anyone catches me editing, it IS my lunch-hour, but sometimes that's just not enough! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that a friendship may develop further and I think that a new law should be created that says everyone should have at least 12 hugs/snuggles every 24 hours!
