Well!!!
I'm finally back online at work, and it's great being able to update during my lunch-hour! :)
Tonnes have happened since I last popped my head in! My front room is very nearly decorated and I'm just looking for a carpet to fiish it off now, it's a soft, silky lilac colour and I love it. I've got a picture of Durham Cathedral and Castle above the mahogony fireplace and it looks fantastic! (or at least I think so!)
After all the stress, worry and more stress from the preparation of the opening of our New Consett Campus at Derwentside College - it's finally over!
The day went really well, we had the number of people through the gates as we had expected, and then half as many again! It was a tremendous success and the Marketing Team, Ashley, Michael and lil' ol' me, are really proud and chuffed with the way taht the day went!
Metro FM had a roadshow and we had a blimp with our logo on, not to mention Cloggs the Clown who kept the youngsters entertained, a balloon race with 2002 balloons of our corporate colours released into the air, henna tattoists, face painters and Safeway and McDonalds showed their support with vouchers and refreshments! There were also people who you could talk to about any of our courses, full or part time!!!
