ARGH! The Internet & E-mail system is down at work, so I can't update my website during my lunch-hours, or after work, until after Derwentside College moves to its New Consett Campus. I'm really looking forward to moving and can't wait until Ashley, Michael and I are working in an office together!
Ashley and I are organising the Community Launch so get yourself along to the event of the year on 7 September 2002 at the new Consett Campus, next to McDonald's from 11am - 3pm! Metro FM are there, not to mention there's a magician and clown to keep the youngsters entertained! There will also be a balloon race, so buy your ticket for 50p and if your balloon goes the furthest, then you could walk away with 75 Quid!!!
I've started to decorate the front room (including fitting brand new skirting boards - fun trying to get one to bend around a bay-window!) So hopefully when I'm back online in a more regular manner (ie. not using my friend's computer as mine isn't even at my house yet, it's still at my parent's 'In case I get paint on it!') then it should be complete and a nice lilac colour! :o)
Until then, however, this is all I can do... Oh, and I can't really check my e-mail regularly, so if I haven't replied, don't take offence! xx Amber
