On the 22nd of July, Me, Mum, Dad, Kath, Rachie and our cousin Alan were awoken at the stupid time of 5am too slam the cases into the car and drive to Heathrow Airport. In the car on the way everyone was fooling around and laughing...mainly at Rachel's horse neigh which continued throughout the holiday! We unloaded the cases, beach umbrellas (which looked scarily like a rifle gun wrapped up) and Dads fishing rods and handed our car to the 'Purple Parking' Man (It's a very good company, I recommend them) and went to check in...

We got on the plane, 2 of us very afraid (me and Kath) watched some movies, slept (mmmmm) and landed 9 hours later at Miami Airport. The heat hit us as we went to get our car (from Avis, recommend them too!) it was hot! Too hot.

We then drove for 2hours to our 1st Villa. Dolphin House (corny name!) We went there last year so knew it was nice. We got a pizza and unpacked, and then went for that first swim....

The beach. Bonita Beach. Nothing wrong with it. White sand, blue sea, no jellyfish, stingrays, sharks (but we saw a big Manta out a little beond the sand bank and loads of dolphins. The sun was shining and it was lovely.

We spent most of our time at the beach, but with the exception of one day when we went out on a boat if we weren't on the beach, we were shopping. Blokes hate shopping, it's a well known fact, so on two ocassions we packed Dad and Al off too the cinema so that we could shop in peace. And we shopped alright, we bought half of the USA!

One day we took out a big boat around the water ways, it was cool driving a boat but the highlight of the day for everyone I think was seeing about 10 dolphins swimming around us. They were so close and we got some great video footage of them! Seeing them in the wild is so much better than seeing them in captivity!

One of the highlights of staying at Bonita Beach has to be the day I had the biggest fight with Alan in the pool which lasted an hour and half over a water gun, we had a great time, it was such a laugh!

Sarasota

Next we headed onto Sarasota, we had a huge lovely villa, there was loads of wildlife round, we saw a tortoise and rabbits and a possom! We were close to loads of beachs and at Manasota beach you could look in the side for sharks teeth, theres millions there, there fab! Siesta Key is a beach and has been voted to have the whitest sand in the world, and it really was white!!!!!
