Teronum is one of the eldest figures in Tenarian history - during many important events Teronum either was present or had representatives. Created out of the fabric of Limbo by Mephisten, he began a genie granted to Mavex (the Fallen God) as a subordinate. Spending much of his life working in The League of Chaos, he later allied himself (with Mavex) alongside the Powers of the Imagiscape Era - still under the thrall of the Fallen God. When Mavex was destroyed Teronum ascended and captured what remained of the God in a hand-mirror. Through encounters in the rest of the second era Teronum gradually usurped the name of older nature Deities (Baphomet, the Horned One, etc) and cast what remained into his sacrificial fires. Teronum has been the most popular patron in history next to Gargauth and acted as a comrade of the Hidden Lord to plan a resurrection which eventually became The Second Coming. He's freed an essence of Verbatim Delecose, controlled The Dark Council, and was the second creature to ever set foot on Jacmus. He created the Malebolge and ruled the First Circle of Hell (the Hell of the thinkers, Limbo, and those who were reasonable instead of faithful). He's also been seen as the defender of Tenaria against foreign-magic and foreign-gods.

Years later - and quite recently- when attempting to prevent the ascension of the god which Silo Lightstrife became, he was fatigued in an aerial battle and fell to the earth at the feet of Rebekah … who tore off his wings and scattered them in the Ocean between Heaven and Hell and imprisoned Teronum in a spherical mirror.

Freed by a Hellion and Drakken, Teronum was kept (initially for preservation) in Physciube which unintentionally killed him due to a Limbonic/Physicube clash.

Dogma

Teronum's symbol were the paired Ram Horns and he was often presented as a Large, Black Night-Goat. Current followers of Teronum are the unintentional followers of Rebekah, but are often described as 'Old Way Pagans.'

There is a rumor, though, that the essence and general concept of Teronum will be revived in a new person a ways into the future. What was mortal of Teronum (personality, look, pleasures, and bias) has been shed and taken into The Sunless Lands, what was Immortal was transfigured.
