Well!!!! After all of these years, Thyatira has reunited to do a couple of shows. The final line-up of Jim Martindale, Frankie J, and Alan "Scott" Dane has been joined by former member, rhythm guitarist Gary "Animal" Albert! Many people were upset by Thyatira not doing their final show in Milwaukee, so we decided to finally give everyone what they wanted. I hope to see you all there! Keep watching for show dates, and visit our myspace page for mp3s and news. myspace.com/thyatirareunion

Just informing you all of the recent demise of the Thyatira clan after almost 10 years. It's been a blast, but the music scene here in Milwaukee has been a little lacking and it has been time for all of us to move on. We have made some great music and have had some great times, and we will miss all of you who have stuck with us through the years, we appreciated your support. This web page will continue to be maintained for the future and will be here should you want access to some mp3's I will still have news updates and all, so keep coming back and see what we've been up to. Thanks again- Scott

Here we are again, another month. We tried to go into the studio to fix our problems, but it did not work out as well as we had planned, since none of us is an engineer. I picked the lesser of two evils and put them on a couple of websites, but they will not be advertised here as we are not impressed with the results. If you have that sick curiosity, you can hear "Grip" and "Wounded Son" at MP3.com or at www.indiesound.com and I think maybe at http://thyatira.iuma.com. Help yourself, and I hope you enjoy the songs.

The studio was a catastrophe, mixing was a nightmare and there is a delay again in our latest recording, sorry. Hopefully it can be done correctly when we go in again this week. The Bike show/fest was kind of a bust. Almost no crowd and problems with another band hindered our efforts along with the heat, it was real sad... I don't think we are gonna be invited out there again next year. We had alot of fun with the "Jell-o shot" lady and we all drank and ate to contentment, but it could have been a better time for all, then again I suppose it coulda been worse. Stay tuned for more photos from the weekend, should be here soon, check the main page for news about that.

Well, here we are again! Going into the studio again and recording two of our new ones. It seems we have recieved enough requests at our shows to record and distribute our new song "Grip" so it's being done this weekend. As soon as we are done it will be available online as well as at our shows on CD for free. Don't forget the show in Ripon on the 22nd. Go back to the main page for the link for info on that show. One price buys food and beer all night so let's have some fun!

They are here! Frankie J's photos of the world trade center as it was in March! Some of the photos are kinda eerie, you can see the blown out parts of buildings and boarded windows. The last two pictures are of Ladder One in New York, where they filmed the documentary seen on CBS special "9/11". You can see Frankie J in his shades on the last photo with some of the rescue workers. Don't forget to reserve your tickets to the show in Ripon in June, we hope to see you all there! ENJOY!

Well, we have a new download available through MP3.com, follow our link through our MP3 page. Also, Frankie J was fortunate enough to be a part of history this month. For those of you who watched the special called 9/11 on CBS, Frankie J visited the same fire department that was first to arrive at Tower One of the WTC in New York and has some photos of "Ground Zero" I hope to have scanned for you soon including some of the firemen that were there (with Frankie J of course) so stay tuned and keep checking back!

Well, THANKS to all our friends and new friends who were nice enough to show up and see our old asses play yet another show at VNUKS. It was a good turnout and we kinda had a pretty much good time except when Planet Delirium got up and started playing and showed us how old we are getting! Good job guys! Now where did I leave my Ben Gay and Geritol? We should have some new photos up for you soon (at least I am hoping). If you want to hear some obscure THYATIRA music, go to our links page and click on the link for our MP3.com link and check out some of our old shit... we have an old live recording of us doing a song we wrote called Mystery Babylon recorded in Kenosha sometime in late 1997. If it's not there yet, it should be there
soon (going thru the approval process) so keep checking back!

Merry Christmas everyone! We had a very good evening last night with Spiral Trance. Paulie and the boys rocked the house last night and we had a freakin good time. Thanks to all the people who were nice enough to show up and get rowdy with us. Gave out a lot of CDs last night and made some new friends, and appreciated the company of some old friends... hope to see you at the next show, whenever and wherever THAT will be...

Well, we finally had a good show. Although TOP PROSPECTS is closed now, it makes me feel a little better knowing that our poor turnouts there were not a personal attack, we had a good turnout at Vnuk's and it was nice
to see everyone out there. Play Dead had a good set, and I was fortunate to
recieve their new CD, pretty good guys! Lithic was VERY good! Everyone
had fun and hope to have that much fun when we play Vnuk's again on the 22nd of December... hope to see you all there!

Okay, NOT FUNNY! It was a dismal night up at Top Prospects last night, but that's okay, I can take it. Bad turnout. Thanks to Remo and SCC we got
the job done, but our name was initially spelled wrong on the marquee, the recording for upcoming shows at the bar never mentioned us, and we only had one week to promote. Maybe we could have done better, I don't know. I'd like to think we could have. Oh, well, there's always the next show...

Well, we went out promoting at Top Prospects open jam and oh, shit did
Frank and Scott get WASTED... they embarrassed themselves horribly. Both
were late for work the next day, but they did end up jamming a couple of
tunes when Jim showed up a little later. It coulda sounded good, no one
knows, everyone was drunk. Hope the show with Seven Crow Circle on the 6th
goes better!

Thanks for all that showed up to see us play at the Death Denied Fest at the Globe, but it would have been nice to see some old friends. It was interesting for Scott to discover that the new rumor is that he is a heroin addict. This is false. Apparently someone saw him injecting insulin in the bathroom... DIABETES, PEOPLE! Just ask anyone who knows him, it's insulin.
