While I was on a trip to London, I discovered
the wonderful world of Bach Flower Essences. This discovery was quite by
accident since I was looking for some type of Homeopathic Kit to buy. At the
time it was well known that Homeopathy is practised by most people in England
while in the United States, alternative medicine had not began to take hold in
society. I was just beginning to find out about alternative medicines,
alternative healing methods, Reiki, Healing Hands, herbs, tincures, healing
teas, and essential oils. The discovery of Bach Flower Essences has changed my
life and those around me forever.
Everyday, I take 4 drops 4 times a day of a mixture of flower essences. I
also give the essences to my grandchildren with the assurance that they will
not be harmed. I used the Rescue Remedy Cream when they were babies: I gently
rubbed the cream on their little pulse points to help calm them down, on their
little bottoms when they got a diaper rash, and on their dry skin to help
moisturize the delicate skin.
I also have made up a special mixture to help them calm down at night so
they can calming go to bed and not have thoughts continually run around in a
circle in their heads. Sometimes they eat a ContentMint instead of the Sleepy
Drops mixture. They still fall asleep fast as with the Sleep Time mixture. The
difference is, in the Sleepy Drops mixture, White Chestnut helps with calming
repeative thoughts. ContentMints contain a five flower mixture made like the
Bach Resecue Remedy.
If the children have had a hard day at school and are disappointed with
something they did, I give them a few drops of Willow and Pine in a small
glass of water. The Willow helps out with holding resentment for self or
others and the Pine helps them release the guilty feelings of they should have
done better. The Flower Essences are wonderful when working with the children.
You can stop the negative effects of emotions before they have a chance to get
into the core of our being.
Flower Essences also help grown-ups with negative emotions. I have used
them to help me overcome nervousness, and insomnia. Now, I can't say that
Flower Essences are a cure-all, but I can tell you they have helped me in more
ways than I can possible tell you.
Flower Essences are easy to dispense, use and easy to understand. Each
Essence is directed to help with a specific emotional state. To select
essences, just examine how you are feeling right now and select the
corresponding essences. Since the Flower Essences work on the etheric self,
there is no need to worry if you pick the wrong essence, you will not have any
ill effects. Read the descriptions of the essences and pick those which apply
to how you are feeling right now. Add 2 drops of each essence into a 1 ounce
dropper bottle and finish filling the 1 ounce dosage bottle with spring water.
Take 4 drops 4 times a day. The mixture should last you 3-4 weeks. Then you
should re-evaluate how you feel and see if your mixture should be changed.
Either way repeat the instructions above. You may soon yourself able to handle
your emotions better.
