Here are some tidbits of information from various sources that I am trying to
piece together. Let me start by listing some of the many
possible last names you may encounter while researching our family.
Blancit Blansit Blancet Blanset Blanchet Blonset
Blaucit Blasnet Blanshel Blancket Blanshot Blankett Beanshet and of course all
of the above with two t's IE Blancitt Blansitt etc.
I spoke with a gentleman named Charles Blancet who
lives in California near me. He is 86 years old and is the son of Clyde Blancet.
He said his family roots are in somerset county pennsylvania. His mothers
name was Elizabeth. He told me he believes that he is of German decent. He said
6 brothers arrived 1750 and 3 went north and 3 went south. 3-31-2011 ken blansit
